Welcome to the Fisheries Research Institute website. 

 We formed the Fisheries Research Institute in the spring of 2003 to provide the working fishermen in the highly migratory species fisheries with an effective means of participating in research projects that will aid the fish, the fisheries, and ultimately the consumers.

As you can see, this website is under construction - but please check back often. We will be adding material constantly, with the goal of making your visit here - whether you're in the fishing industry, an academic or a seafood consumer who wants to be better informed - as rewarding as possible.
